Scheduled - We would like to make you aware of some upcoming activity affecting the Customs Declaration Service (CDS).

There will be a planned CDS system outage on 29 April 2026 between 21:30 and 23:00, to allow a hotfix to be deployed. Once the system has been restored, CDS Release 5.1.0.2 will be applied. There has been no change to the content of this release, and no additional system downtime is expected while the release is deployed.

In addition, from 11 May 2026, the excise duty changes that were previously delivered as part of CDS Release 5.1.0 on 29 March 2026 will be reflected in the Online Tariff and should be used from this date. These updates relate to items 15 and 16 of the Release 5.1.0 guidance documents, which I have re-attached for your reference.
